For people who want to experience more out of life, concerts
often serve as the perfect choice. As the crowd of pumped up ravers rush
through the doors, the sounds of their stomping feet makes you invigorated and
energized as it goes louder and louder blaring throughout the concert hall. The
streaming kaleidoscopic lights set the perfect illusion that undoubtedly
invites you in and makes you anxious for the live performance. Just as the crew
initiates sound check, you can hear those fans as eager as bridegrooms, screaming
out their much awaited musicians’ names. The speakers, the size of London’s telephone
booths, along with the widescreens that make you feel like a tiny spec, gives
off the countdown that the show’s about to begin at last! Excitement sets in,
not only the echoes from those screaming throats fill the room, but also the camera
flashes that almost seem like you’re watching the stars. The climactic moment
arrives and the artist that you’ve been waiting for a long tedious time which probably
feels like forever, is finally in front of your own eyes within a shouting
distance. Those songs, as flawless as a work of art, take you to another place
until you get lost in the crowd. The guitar riffs spontaneously carry you away,
as the vocalist passionately plays through the chords. The bass creates the
perfect beat with the drums, until everyone dances along with it. There’s this
unexplainable tingling sensation throughout that whole two hours and the next
thing you know, they’re onto their last and final song. The illusion ends along
with show, just as everything goes back to its sanity. There’s something about
concerts that makes you crave for more, the same way you feel when you want
something more out of what life has to offer.
